If you’ve found your way here, there’s likely something on your mind or something that’s become too heavy to carry alone. Whether it’s stress, anxiety, a sense of being stuck, wanting to understand yourself better, or difficulties in your relationships, you’re not expected to have it all figured out.
This space is here to offer steady, thoughtful support. I work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of challenges. My approach is grounded, respectful, and focused on what matters to you.
Here, you’ll find information about how we can work together to support you around specific concerns. You set the pace, and we shape the process to suit your needs.
Many people find comfort in sharing their journey with someone who understands. If anything here resonates with you, contact me with questions or to arrange a first session. Support is available whenever you’re ready.

Your journey matters
I know that whatever brought you here took courage. Pain has a way of making us feel isolated, as if we're the only ones who struggle with these particular feelings or situations. But here's what I've learned: your experiences aren't strange or unusual, and there's a real possibility for things to feel different.
In our work together, you may notice parts of yourself that you may have forgotten about or never knew existed. Many people are surprised to find that they're more resilient than they realized, more capable of change than they believed possible. Therapy offers you space to untangle what feels overwhelming and to rebuild your relationship with yourself. You'll develop a clearer sense of what you want, not just what you think you should want, and you'll learn to trust your judgment again.
What happens in therapy isn't just about managing difficulties, though that's certainly part of it. It's about reclaiming your sense of agency and discovering that you have more choices than you might currently see. You deserve to feel more connected to yourself and others, and more confident in your ability to handle whatever life brings.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
–Carl Rogers
Here, I’ve answered some of the most common questions I receive about therapy and the services I offer. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other. I’ll ask you questions to understand your current struggles, your background, and what you hope to achieve in therapy. It’s a chance for you to share your concerns in a safe and non-judgmental space. We'll also talk about what therapy will look like moving forward and discuss how we can build a trusting therapeutic relationship.
The length of therapy depends on your individual needs and goals. While some people may benefit from short-term therapy, I tend to work with clients in a mid-to-long-term context. This allows us to explore deeper patterns, understand underlying causes of your struggles, and create lasting change. We’ll discuss your progress regularly and adjust the approach as needed.
Typically, therapy sessions are held once a week, though the frequency can vary depending on your needs. Some clients may benefit from more frequent sessions, while others may feel comfortable with fortnightly or monthly appointments after we’ve made progress. We’ll discuss this together to find a schedule that works best for you.
Yes, I work with a diverse range of individuals from all backgrounds, cultures, genders, and sexual orientations. I value each person’s unique experiences and believe that therapy should be inclusive and respectful of your identity. Whether you are exploring issues related to culture, gender, sexuality, or any other aspect of your life, I am here to provide a safe and understanding space for you.
Prioritising your mental health is one of the most valuable investments you can make. The session rates are aligned with standard medical aid tariffs to ensure accessibility and affordability. This is a cash practice. There is access to a card machine or online payment method.
Medical aid claims are processed according to your plan’s benefits. Please check with your provider for coverage details. You remain responsible for payment of the account.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. This helps ensure that I can offer that time to another client. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee, so I encourage you to let me know as soon as possible if something comes up. Medical aids do not cover these sessions.

"Healing is not about erasing the past, but about transforming the way we carry it. Our thoughts and emotions are not fixed; they evolve as we do. Just as a wound gradually mends, so too does the mind when given care, understanding, and space to grow. True change begins when we stop fearing our emotions and start listening to them. Whether you're seeking clarity, resilience, or deeper connections, therapy is a space where you can rediscover your strength, rewrite your story, and move forward with greater self-awareness and confidence."
